Delivery and Refund Policy
Free deliveries for East Cheshire, Stockport, Manchester and North Birmingham.
With the exception of furniture orders, we offer free next working day courier delivery on all orders over £40 (ex VAT) that are received by 4pm and delivered to mainland addresses in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Deliveries within a 20 mile radius of our Stockport and Birmingham office will be delivered via our own transport. All orders placed below the value of £40 will incur a delivery charge of £5.00 ex VAT.
This delivery commitment is subject to the product(s) that you ordered being in stock and us taking successful payment. Don't worry; if we cannot ship to you right away, we will be in touch.
We know how important it is to get your order to you as quickly as possible. However there may be times when our courier is unable to deliver your package on time due to factors that are out of our control; for example extreme bad weather or a broken down vehicle. We can only apologise for this and for any inconvenience caused.
Delivery to non UK mainland (i.e. Channel Islands, Ireland) and overseas are charged based on weight and destination and can take between 3 and 15 working days. We will send you an email advising of the delivery costs before processing the order and any additional cost will be charged to your card/account, if applicable.
All items delivered by courier will need to be signed for. We are very sorry but we are unable to specify an exact time of day for delivery of your order beyond the delivery window of 9:00am to 5:30pm. However, if no one is available to accept delivery at the specified delivery address, the package will be returned to your local delivery depot and a card will be left detailing how to organise redelivery of your order.
Some furniture and storage items are delivered direct from our suppliers. These items can take a little longer to arrive usually about 3 days, but sometimes up to 15 working days. For this type of order, our customer support team will call you with an order confirmation, an estimated delivery date. In addition, for furniture orders, you will be contacted by our customer support team approximately 48 hours prior to delivery.
We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in a fully re-saleable condition.
Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 14 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.
Items over our 14-day returns period may be returned at our discretion; however, this may not be at the full credit value.
Please see below for exceptions to this policy.
If the product returned is not in fully re-saleable condition or the packaging is damaged or with markings or writing, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% off the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Received a damaged item?
Please accept our apologies if your item is damaged. As long as this is reported to us within 2 days of delivery we will be happy to arrange a collection and replacement for you.
Products we are unable to refund or exchange.
We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on personalised, made to measure/order, software or perishable goods such as food and drink items which include biscuits, coffee and water) unless they are faulty.
We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted. We do not charge for returns except for unwanted purchases of furniture and large electrical appliances.
Unwanted purchases of furniture and large electrical appliances
Please check the dimensions of the delivery address for access (including doors, corridors, stairs and corners) and the proposed location before ordering large pieces of furniture etc to ensure successful delivery, and to confirm that the product is the right size for your needs. Where large products are returned as unwanted, we reserve the right to make a charge of £50 to cover the collection cost.
Returns via courier collection
Contact Customer Services and quote order number, stock number, and the reason for the return and whether you want a refund or a replacement.
We will email you back with further instructions and will arrange for the courier to come and collect the product you wish to return within 3 days - free of charge.
Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
IfÂ you paid by credit/debit card, we will e-mail you a credit note and provide a refund back to the card.
If you paid by account, a credit note will be on your next statement.
None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.
